  26. .hqx files are BINHEX.  You can use Stuffit and Compact Pro on your Mac
  27. to un-binhex or to create binhexed files.  You will find that a large
  28. number of binhexed files are actually larger than the original file, but
  29. they are ascii and easier for many people to up/down load than binary
  30. files.  Thus, when you un-binhex a file, you may find that what you get
  31. is a Stuffit or Compact Pro (or other) Archive that then has to be
  32. decompressed.
