- Well I appreciate the reply but if you'll note in my message I am using 3Com
- 600 series servers. This being the case I'm using an ESDI disk connected to
- an Adaptec 4525 controller which is connected to a SCSI bus. The biggest
- problem I may have is that the software that comes with the 3Com boxes isn't
- very versatile when it comes to formatting drives that they don't sell.
- In my case I will be getting SCSI drives and attempting to attach them
- directly to the SCSI bus, so I'm not worried about an interface card here.
- Again thanks for the reply and if you have any info on this kind of setup I
- would be very much in your debt.
