  25. Well I appreciate the reply but if you'll note in my message I am using 3Com 
  26. 600 series servers. This being the case I'm using an ESDI disk connected to 
  27. an Adaptec 4525 controller which is connected to a SCSI bus. The biggest 
  28. problem I may have is that the software that comes with the 3Com boxes isn't 
  29. very versatile when it comes to formatting drives that they don't sell. 
  30. In my case I will be getting SCSI drives and attempting to attach them 
  31. directly to the SCSI bus, so I'm not worried about an interface card here. 
  32. Again thanks for the reply and if you have any info on this kind of setup I 
  33. would be very much in your debt.
