  12. Hello to All!
  13.   I am using Nytran nylon membranes in my Northern blotting. Often, I see 
  14. SDS used in hybridizations, mostly with protocols using nylon filters. 
  15.   Will anyone please share their expertise on this matter?  Is SDS
  16. important in filter hybridizations, particularly with nylon?  Also, I've 
  17. heard dextran works well with nitrocellulose, but that it is not 
  18. recommended for nylon due to high background artifacts.
