- During a current project I have discovered that there are a lot of
- features with keys such as:

- misc_feature 694..1296
- /note="This feature applies to a gene which lacks a coding
- region feature."

- These notes are MEANINGLESS!!!!
- I have seen these applied to everything from KNOWN CDS's to transcriptional
- terminators. It's bad enough that misc_feature is being mis-used, but
- why junk up the database with such a useless /note? The consistent
- wording obviously means it's boilerplate inserted (semi?)automatically.
