- Dear Colleagues,
- Kerry Tucker recently asked me about the seven bands seen on gels of
- Arabidopsis RNA. As a graduate student, I estimated the size of these bands
- based on relative mobility compared with BRL RNA standards and assigned
- identities to some of the bands by matching the transcript sizes with those
- listed for RNAs in the handbook, Methods in Arabidopsis Research, edited by
- Koncz, Chua, and Schell. We would like to know if there is published data
- about these bands with which I could compare my own guess-timates.
- Thanks, Ellen Kearns kearns@huelings.harvard.edu
