- I am looking for comments, bibliographies, experts, datasets, or case
- histories on tree plantations on degraded land in developing countries.
- I am particularly interested in the social and environmental impacts of
- exotics e.g. acacia or eucalypts. I am operating under the assumption
- that both damages and benefits have been experienced, and that the
- effects are usually site-specific.
-
- The paper I'm preparing is only about tree plantations on degraded land,
- where native forests have not existed for sometime, although facts about
- intentional replacement of native forests with plantations would be
- useful.
