  13. About a week ago I posted something about a possible net.get-together in
  14. Berkeley to see Cheryl Wheeler at the Freight and Salvage.
  15.  
  16. Cheryl Wheeler is a folk singer that has been getting rave reviews in
  17. rec.music.folk.  Apparently she puts on a great show.  Not only does she
  18. have a beautiful voice and writes great songs she also could be a comedian
  19. if she didn't have either of those talents.  She is making an extremely
  20. rare west coast appearance at Freight and Salvage in Berkeley on March 3rd.
  21. I want to go see her and thought maybe it might be fun to make a net.party
  22. out of it.

  24. Mara Monaghan, through the kindness of her dear little heart, took upon herself
  25. to provide me with all the necessary information needed.

  27. First of all it is general seating, which means we can all sit together if
  28. we want, even though some may buy tickets at different times.    
  29.  
  30. The doors open at 7:30 and the show begins at 8:00pm on March 3rd (which
  31. is a Wednesday).

  42. The general manager's name is Steve Baker.  He is already aware of the
  43. possibility of a group up to 30 people from the net arriving in his place
  44. of business.  Suprisingly, he'll still accept our money.

  46. There's a couple of ways we can work this.  Everyone can just handle getting
  47. the tickets themselves or we can make a bulk purchase.  If we buy 10 tickets
  48. in advance they'll give one away free.  We can either adjust the price 
  49. accordingly, or give Mara a free ticket for her efforts.  Tickets for the
  50. show are $9 in advance from the F&S box office or $10 at the door.

  52. Also it was suggested that some of us could meet for a quick bite to eat
  53. before the show in one of Berkeleys many diverse restaurants.
