  11. Well, this unsuspecting newby is going to do it. I'm going to try and meet
  12. some of the strange and interesting personalities that inhabit this newsgroup.

  14. The place? The Tied House, in Mountain View.

  16. The date? Tomorrow (well, today by the time most of you read this, I presume),
  17.    Tuesday, January 26th.

  19. The time? 7:00ish...I imagine I'll be there for an hour or two, depending on
  20.    whether or not anyone else shows up (despite my fondness for good micro-
  21.    breweries, I don't like to hang out in them alone).

  24. be reading a copy of _Dream_Park_, or maybe some local free newspaper or
