  17. It seems that there are a few folks who have short fuses.  Most of the time,
  18. there is more reasonable discussion, often a little heated.  Frequently a number
  19. of different viewpoints, usually well presented.

  21. I do note that there are a few folks who seem never to have anything to 
  22. contribute other than to attemt to denigrate others for anything that they 
  23. say or do.  They seem to take great pleasure in pointing out what they think
  24. are the defects in someone's (perhaps everyone's) posts.  One can only hope
  25. that they get a life or drown in their own bile.

  33. You don't need flame retardant.  But you do need to have a bit of a perspective:
  34. it's only the net.  You need not take every asshole who makes some incoherent
  35. response to your posting seriously.

  37. Tina made statements on the net which I don't think that the majority of
  38. people would make in public.  And the net is public.  Worse, she understood that
  39. they might be offensive to a number of people, but continued to defend them.
  40. The net is not know for being particularly tollerant of insults or for being
  41. patient.
