- Looks like my rear tire (ME55 Metronic) is on its last bit of tread.
- After 4K miles, I'm only a bit surprised. I've thought about
- replacing it with one of a few different tires (see below). Anyone
- care to point out faults in my logic/knowledge?

- ME88 -- should last at least twice as long, still a sticky tire (hey,
- if it's good enough for Hesh, it should be good enough for me :-).
- Comp K -- if it's going to only last 4K or so miles, why not get
- something *really* sticky.
- The "other" ME55 -- I'm not sure I exactly understand the Metzler
- brochure. It seems that there are two different types of ME55, one
- more sporty than the other. I haven't been able to figure out which
- one I have, or why I'd want to switch.
