  13. Looks like my rear tire (ME55 Metronic) is on its last bit of tread.
  14. After 4K miles, I'm only a bit surprised.  I've thought about
  15. replacing it with one of a few different tires (see below).  Anyone
  16. care to point out faults in my logic/knowledge?

  19. ME88 -- should last at least twice as long, still a sticky tire (hey,
  20. if it's good enough for Hesh, it should be good enough for me :-).
  21. Comp K -- if it's going to only last 4K or so miles, why not get
  22. something *really* sticky.
  23. The "other" ME55 --  I'm not sure I exactly understand the Metzler
  24. brochure.  It seems that there are two different types of ME55, one
  25. more sporty than the other.  I haven't been able to figure out which
  26. one I have, or why I'd want to switch.
