- Today's Chron reports that the first scooterjacking (Honda Elite) occured
- yesterday in the Mission district. While cruising down the street, someone
- stepped out in front of the rider, blocking his way, and demanding his
- bike (I guess countersteering around him didn't work). The rider initially refused, but the jacker put his hand in his coat pocket and motioned as if
- he had a gun. The rider gave up the scoot. An accomplice was waiting around
- the corner and was picked up by the scooterjacker.

- Geesh, i never thought I would be in danger on my 250
