- I find myself incredibly strapped and am forced to sell my little
- GEM/PDA/DOS portable/remote E-mail machine.
-
- DESCRIPTION:
-
- You may remember these little gems from about a year ago. 2 ROM cards
- carrying major commercial software (still available at Fry's all over) and
- ROM-based MS-DOS and five personal organizer/productivity apps. I also
- have 2-512K ROM cards (for storage), the optional serial interface for
- connecting to modems/printers, a serial connect device for host computers
- and the software that drives them so you can share files with your desktop
- PC, AND the WorldPort 2400 baud modem that's packaged with it. It has been
- pretty useful, and if you're into this sort of thing, it's a blast. The
- machine runs any DOS app that fits in 640K (which is what it has). Really
- good screen quality for such a small MS-DOS palmtop (comparable in size to
- something like Gateway Handbook - this was the precursor). It's a NEC V-20
- processor (compatible with 8086). I also have the owner's manual,
- documentation, and faux-leather case. The computers runs on 4-AA batteries
- for 100 hours+ (rated), and the modem uses a nine-volt battery - a
- completely battery-operated terminal, if you will, as WELL as a DOS
- machine.
-
- PRICING:
-
- Although comparable units can go for very high prices, I'm selling mine
- complete (with everything shown here AND the power pack for the modem so
- you can use it separately) I'm asking...
-
- $600 (or offers - no trades, please, I am *strapped*)
-
- E-mail me at the address below for more information. Help a man in
- distress.
