  13. Complete PC Flatbed Scanner for sale. This scanner, which is actually
  14. made by well-known scanner manufacturer AVR (Advanced Vision
  15. Research), comes with a driver that lets it emulate an HP ScanJet. It
  16. interfaces directly to an IBM PC-compatible via a dedicated plug-in
  17. card. The bed is 9"x14" (not just 8.5"x11"), which makes it ideal for
  18. OCRing legal documents as well as other scanning tasks. I bought it
  19. because it was both less expensive and better than the HP.

  22. help cover the cost of the new one. I bought it for $999; will sacrifice
