  11. Romantic, huh? We all have different definitions of that term, I'm
  12. sure, but here are my suggestions.

  14. The Bella Vista up on Skyline is nice. The food is pretty good
  15. Continental style,  the drive to get there is nice if you go just at
  16. dusk,  and if you get a table by a window (RESERVATIONS!)
  17. you have the whole bay spread out before you with twinkling lights.

  19. I like the atmosphere at Dal Baffo in Menlo Park. They have some
  20. tables that are set off in little alcoves, the food is very good Italian,
  21. the service is wonderful.

  23.  Chantilly in Palo Alto is quite lovely, and the Continental/French menu is
  24. good.
