- 1. Soak in scalding hot soapy water for a few minutes.
- 2. Scrub the non-grating side thoroughly with a plastic pad.
- 3. Scrub the front with strokes that go in the non-grating direction.
- 4. Scrub across the front under each row of graters.
- 5. Turn over and scrub the back again.
- 6. Rinse.

- A pain in the u-know-what but it gets the cheese out of the grating
- cowls--especially steps 2 and 5 with a lot of elbow-grease.
