- How on earth does this idiot come up with a ridiculous statement
- like this ? ..... considering all the CBer's that break the rules, I cant
- remember ever hearing a CBer use a proper callsign, let alone at the start
- and end of a transmission, carry on a conversation without swearing,
- use a UHF repeater without jamming others, not forgetting the CBer's who
- disregard the boundaries of both the 11m and 63cm bands, encroaching on
- commercial and amateurs bands, plus deliberate disruption to those users.
- Let's think seriously, if we gave the CBers a peice of the 70cm
- band, what would happen, obviously, they would buy amateur 70cm equipment
- and take over the whole 70cm band, totally disregarding any one else.
- I think its quite the contrary, the CB bands are suffering from
- a total lack of control and should be withdrawn from them, let alone
- give them more spectrum to destroy!
