- ----Just thought I'd add my two cents worth...I view rap as an extra-musical
- addition to a piece of music, much the same as feedback in harder edged music.
- It adds a different flavour to otherwise mundane music. But when these extra-
- musical noises become the sole purpose of the song instead of the music itself,
- something is wrong. I like to listen to a song made up entirely of rap about as
- much as I would want to listen to a song made up entirely of feedback squeals.
- It has a function, but it's not a function in itself.----
