  14. I graduated at the end of last year with an M.Sc. in geophysics.  I have not yet
  15. found employment in New Zealand, because jobs in this area of expertise are
  16. virtually non-existent at the moment.  I am however working as a research assistant at the Geophysic's Institute of Victoria University of Wellington, but this is only temporary.  My question is to ask what openings are available in Australia for people of my qualifications, especially in Queensland. I am contemplating going on to do a Ph.D and wonder whether this is a necessary move to increase my employment potential in a geophysical job.
