- As a senior member of the development team, the Analyst Programmer will
- be involved in system analysis, design, programming and software
- maintenance of complex, real-time administrative systems at the Hobart
- campus, as well as providing technical advice and support to other team
- members, management and system users. In the first instance the
- position will probably mainly involve support of the University's Financial
- Management System written in RPG on an IBM AS/400.

- Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the
- development of multi user administrative application systems and preferably
- have some practical experience on this platform. The university also has
- administrative systems in Prime Information, Oracle and Powerhouse.
- Experience with any of these, or with Macintosh, DOS PCs or UNIX would be
- an advantage.

- Commencing salary for this full-time, continuing position will be within
- the range $34,462-$38,808 (Computer Systems Officer 2).
