  25. For the rest, I'd say you're pretty close. M/W DoEU (between 1) points
  26. out that

  28.    the enormous amount of ink spilled in the explication of the
  29.    subtleties of between and among has been largely a waste; it is
  30.    difficult for a native speaker of English who is not distracted by
  31.    irrelevant considerations to misuse the two words.  One of the
  32.    major distractions is, in fact, excessive concern for number.
