  21. {(her past history being pointed out here).   That would certainly solve the
  22. {contractual differences and make him realize that the show has reached the
  23. {point where it is not just about a New Yorker "imprisoned" in Cicely.

  26. The Contract negotiations were settled a LONG time ago. Morrow got

  28. his raise, but its never been said how much.

  30. {I think the show would be just as good, if not better without him.  Don't get
  31. {me wrong, I love the character and think Morrow is pretty good...but maybe this
  32. {theory is right.  It is the kind of things that afternoon soaps do all the
  33. {time.

  37. I won't mince words. I think this would be a collosal mistake. Rob
  38. Morrow, IMHO, it the best actor in the cast.  I think his two
  39. Golden Globe nominations and Emmy nomination attest to this.

  41. I think the character of Joel Fleischman is the ballast for the
  42. rest of the show--Joel is the voice of reason, skepticism and
  43. "reality" that gives the audience a point of reference for
  44. all the crazy goings on in Cicely. If they were to dump Rob for
  45. another actor, they would only have to replace him with a 
  46. similar type character for the formula to work. And no one could
  47. do that type of character better than Rob--so leave him be.

  49. Besides, as has been shown with the Maggie/Mike "romance" I think
  50. the producers would be hard pressed to come up with someone who
  51. has as good chemistry with Janine Turner as Rob Morrow. Just take
  52. a gander at "Spring Break" or "It Happened in Juneau."

  54. Since Rob's contract has been signed, sealed and secured, I don't
  55. see him getting hit by a caribou anytime soon. Thankfully!
