- I agree wholeheartedly. I need to buy myself an Elmo doll, after reading
- all these messages about him. :) He's probably what I miss the most about not
- having time to watch Sesame Street every day. He reminds me of all the kids
- I used to babysit; he personifies the best and cutest traits of that wonder-
- filled age kids go through.
-
- Telly, on the other hand...I hate to muppet-bash, but if there is ONE thing
- I can't stand about children, it's whining and worrying, and Telly, IMHO, does
- WAY too much of that. He never stays happy for more than about ten seconds at
- a time, because he's always finding something else to worry about; I realize
- that, like Oscar, he's an exaggeration, but Telly grates on my nerves in a way
- Oscar never has.
-
- Does anyone else get all nostalgic when they see the skits with Grover and
- Jon-Jon, or the animated pinball-machine-with-the-number-of-the-day-song?
-
- Dang it!! Now I want to go home and skip school and work both to watch it!!
-
- Maybe if I get to stay home if and when I ever have kids...
-
- *sigh*
