  11. OH BOY - I didn't know this would start some sort of "tiff".  I
  12. just checked this posting (I'm not a regular) and was a bit
  13. amused.
  14.     I, obviously, really like Dennis (is it really Denis?)
  15. Leary, but I do admit that I'm not thrilled about his MTV
  16. connection.  Some people may say he's "sold out" but I wouldn't
  17. go that far.  I'm just really pissed off right now b/c I drove
  18. an hour last night to see him at James Madison University and
  19. it had sold out that morning.  I didn't care that I wasted time
  20. driving, etc. but I was really counting on seeing him (although
  21. I just found out about the "show" 2 days before; tickets cost
  22. "$5 in advance and $8 at the door, which to me hinted at
  23. selling tickets at the door).  And I know if he didn't do all
  24. this MTV and commercial stuff half the Joe College students
  25. wouldn't have been there and I saw Leary on the Improv show 2
  26. years ago and thought he was great.  So basically I, being a
  27. bit selfish, felt that these bastards didn't deserve to go
  28. while I did.  Anyway...
  29.     If anybody hears of Leary "performing" anywhere please
  30. write to me.
