  26. You are wrong, winky-breath!  I've been reluctant to get in on this thread
  27. because as you both pointed out, this has nothing to do with MST3k, but
  28. you, sir, have gone TOO FAR.  My opinions follow:

  30. Dennis Leary's opinions are definitely NOT MST3K like.  The guys behind
  31. MST3K (at least from what I can tell on the show) are good-natured,
  32. inherently funny guys comfortable with all kinds of humor.  Leary is, IMO,
  33. a no-talent Lenny Bruce wannabe who has made a lot of money on really
  34. tasteless "humor," although for the life of me I can't see any humor in it
  35. at all.  He's just a notch above Andrew Dice Clay on the infernal circles
  36. of Comedic Hell.  The guys on MST3K occasionally take jabs at other comedians
  37. that they don't find funny, like Gallagher and Lucille Ball, but they're
  38. never as mean-spirited as Leary is.  They also know how far you can go with
  39. ragging on somebody and still keep it funny.  Leary doesn't seem to have
  40. that talent.

  44. PS: Plus, Leary has made most his money off of MTV.  That's a big strike
  45. against him.
