- I suppose the romantic in me wants to see them get together, but I tend
- to lean more towards the idea that was posted by someone a few days
- ago. I believe she commented on how nice it would be, for a change,
- to have a show portray roommates of the oppostie sex being very good
- friends without the need for a physical relationship .. the idea that
- single men and women can live together platonically. It's not
- guaranteed to be an approach that will find a lot of favor with the
- show's viewers, but I'd like to see them do something different rather
- than what most people would expect or want (ahh.. but those ratings).
-
- Are you asking if Allison (sp?) is a butthead for not noticing Billy
- romantically? I don't think so. They have what appears to be a very
- good friendship and mutual respect. She doesn't have to take a romantic
- interest in him just because he's male, lives under the same roof and
- has a lot of attractive qualities. Somehow I think the storyline
- would get boring rather quickly if the show's writers decided to link
- these two romantically. The interest in their situation is there
- because they _aren't_ a couple and a number of viewers enjoy watching
- their interactions as two people with caring feelings for one another
- but without the physical involvement.
