- I'm at my wit's end with this one; hope someone can help.
-
- I'm doing my best to use the CANVAS package. I can paint canvases
- fine when WIN_REPAINT events occur and my handler is called
- (when the window is first displayed, or has been obscured, or what
- have you). But when I call my repaint procedure directly myself
- in order to reflect new information, nothing happens. When I
- use the window manager to refresh the window, however, generating
- another repaint call, the display *does* repaint.
-
- Has anyone else shared this experience, and do you know a solution
- to the problem? I've verified that I am indeed passing the
- same arguments as are passed by "real" repaints; the Xlib code
- that does the drawing executes, it just doesn't *do* anything.
- Help!
-
- Please respond by email; I'll summarize if there's interest.
