- So this leads me in a roundabout way to my question of the day. Are
- there any special tips for patching up my board. I've already gotten
- some practice from patching my green behemoth but I wasn't too concerned
- with the quality of the result there. I don't know if water got in the
- board but I'm letting it dry for a few days anyway. There's an ugly
- brown streak where the glass is cracked, is there a way to get back the
- original color? And how do the pros get their patches to be (a) almost
- invisible, and (b) so smooth? Any advice (other than to quit surfing) will
- be gratefully accepted.

- If I where you I would go to fiberglass Santa Cruz. along with glass,
- resin, and foam, they sell a small book on surf board repairs. I can
- not remember the name of it off the top of my head, but it is pretty
- good. I have used the info several times to fix my board.
