- Your not critizing Ron Jon's are you? I consider it my Mecca. :-)
-
- When I was in Cocoa Beach last year, the rental huts I checked out
- only had plastic surfboards, but Ron Jon's had a small selection of
- fiberglass boards for rent. Not much of a selection, but I was able
- to rent a board and a wet-suit for about $50 for the week. (Is that
- a good price?)

- Glad your wife enjoyed the boogie boarding. My ex-girlfriend put up with my
- surfing, (or attempts there of) but that's about it. Tanning is the only
- activity she cares for on vacations. :-) But my current girlfriend is keen
- on learning how to surf, and I want to encourage her before she changes her
- mind. Any suggestions on a good vacaction spot for someone interested
- in learning how to surf? We would have to rent surf boards (or buy some used
- ones) and lessons would be helpful. I was thinking of South Carolina, but I
- don't know of any good locations. For some reason I can't find any
- travel agencies in Canada that know of good surfing locations. :-)
