- ..just diging through my vinyl last night and I came across "Rude
- Awakening vol. 2" (Cartel, I think...). This is one hot, skankin' slab of
- plastic! I freaked in the street when the needle hit "Undercover" by The
- Busters. I have some other Busters stuff, but this track is the best for
- sure. Which gets me to thinking... what's everyone's favorite spy/secret
- agent/FBI guy song? I like "Matt Davis" (Toasters), "I Spy for the FBI"
- (Untouchables), "Casino Royale" (Casino Royale), and "James Bond"
- (Selecter). "Matt Davis" on "NYC Ska Live" (Moon Records) is especially
- good.

- As for the new Toasters release, eeehhhh. <Hand wavers from left to right>
- It's ok, I suppose. Thing is, I got it at the same time as another
- Toasters CD called "Thrill Me Up" (on Skamming music, made in Holland).
- That one has some incredible tracks from the old(er) days ("Go Girl",
- "Decision at Midnight", "Pool Shark", etc.). The new album just doesn't
- stack up to the old stuff. No soul. Skins and rude persons everywhere
- should definitely run out and grab the "Thrill Me Up" CD, though. Now.
