  23. I went last (Oz) season, got hooked and will be back again (at a
  24. differenet mountain) this season.  I learned how to do it in basically 6
  25. days, after slamming so heavily in the first 2 days that on a skate I
  26. would have been dead after the first two slams.  Where I was is called
  27. Mt. Bulla in Victoria, Australia.  Where I will be next season
  28. is Mt. Hotham, same state and country.  Season after that I will be going
  29. to New Zealand for about two weeks, and get dropped off by a helicopter
  30. on the side of a mountain and spend the day boarding down it, if all
  31. goes well.  I told you I was hooked!

  33. Snowboarding is just about the best thing I have ever done, period.

  35. For those who have never snowboarded:

  37. Snowboarding is *not* like skateboarding, and un-learning 15 years of
  38. skateboarding was just one of the many hurdles in learning how to
  39. snowboard on the first snow experience ever.  Turing is much more like
  40. skiing, so I am told.

  42. I'd better stop now, in case there is a newsgroup elsewhere for this
  43. kind of thing and the net.police find out about thisa post :-)

  45. All skaters who reach the snow should give it a try.  *HIGHLY*
  46. recommended!
