  17. My first premeditated dirty trick was so successful that it 
  18. launched a career.  The school where I attended 7th grade had 
  19. lockers equipped with combination padlocks.  I stole a tube of 
  20. lipstick from a female classmate and smeared it on the back of a 
  21. disliked nerd's lock.  Next time he opened his locker, it got all 
  22. over his left hand.  The owner of the lipstick, who resembled 
  23. "Fat Broad" of the _BC_ comic strip, caught him "red-handed" and 
  24. beat the hell out of him.

  26. Here's a refinement of the old shoe-polish-on-the-phone-receiver 
  27. trick which is especially effective for marks with jealous 
  28. lovers:  Smear lipstick in the phone receiver.  It takes such a 
  29. tiny amount to do the job that the mark probably won't notice it, 
  30. even if his phone is some color other than red.
