  18. I got a call once for "Bob".  I told the caller he had a wrong number and
  19. hung up.  A moment later the phone rang again, and I asked a female friend
  20. to answer it.  "Tell them he's dead", I said.  "Huh?", she replied as she
  21. picked it up.  Then she understood.  "I'm so sorry, but, well, Bob's dead."
  22. She said he believed it for about 30 seconds.  He was pretty cool about it,
  23. and invited us to the party he was inviting Bob to.
