- Well, that's *your* rather depressing and critical evaluation of the movie,
- I rather enjoyed it as being a light and humorous romantical comedy. Here's
- a quick clue, the characters were supposed to be outrageous, that's why
- its called a comedy.
-
- >"Holiday Inn" - Bing & Fred Astaire play dirty tricks on each other and their

- >one/both from being seen by a Hollywood agent.
-
- Once again, read above notes. :-)

- Maybe not all movies are designed to teach the great and wonderful lesson.
- Let's see if we can sum up your evaluation of movies so far and how they
- are corrupting the values of all of us :
-
- Ladyhawke : During daylight, she's a hawk and he's human, at night
- he's a wolf and she's human, and they're in love with each other. This
- one is obviuosly a story about bestiality.... Very corrupting.
-
- Green Card : He's a lout and the plot's wat too obvious that they're going
- to fall in love. Speaks for itself (BTW : In case you hadn't noticed,
- most movie love plots are fairly obvious how they will turn out... Something
- about happy endings ??)
-
- Princess Bride : The characters are one-dimensional, people are popping
- pills which make them "alive" (obvious drug reference), woman gets
- fought over by two men, piracy, killing, mutants and a rather monotonous
- Spaniard. All definitely bad role models.
-
- You failed to criticize Don't Tell Her Its Me.... Didn't see it ?? Allow
- me to fill you in. Man pretends to be somebody else in order to win girl's
- heart, she finds out and rather than killing the poor schmuck, they eventually
- fall in love. Teaches people to be different people in order to impress women.
-
- Let's see...... How about Casablanca : Bogie's playing all ends against each
- other in an attempt to keep making a good living, and maybe live happily
- ever after.. Doesn't work out.....Teaches kids to use whatever methods are at
- their disposal to get what they want.
-
- If I missed any important films, please let me know and I'll be glad to add
- to your hit list.
-

-
- PS : I loved all the movies, with all their faults and deep disgusting
- messages that they were teaching me. ;-)
