  23. of the decade.  Its sappy ending came out of nowhere, destroying (at 
  24. least for me) all the happy things that had already happened.  I couldn't
  25. believe that ending (BTW, you *are* aware that originally they don't get
  26. together at the end?).  
  27.      Anyway, my recommendation?  *War of the Roses*.  A truly dark film
  28. about love turned to hate -- you should watch it with someone you think
  29. you love.  Or, if you're a wimp, watch *The Princess Bride*.  This is one
  30. of the few romantic films which I respected, thoroughly enjoyed, and would
  31. watch again (and again, and again, and again...).  I remain,

  35. PS.  New theory:  unrequited love tends to adversely affect one's immune
  36. system <hack, cough>.  Yes, there is a story, and I shall post it when I
  37. feel it is polished enough.  
  38. PPS.  In a way, however, I'm glad I got sick.  I'm so busy thinking about
  39. my physical pain that it takes my mind off my emotional pain.  :-/
