- Not true! Emacs takes up 12MB RAM on my system! :-O

- Personally I've never understood the need for these swiss army knife type
- editors like vi and emacs. There are plenty of compact, portable, stripped
- down emacs-like clones out there that do everything you want to do 95% of
- the time without being memory hogs.
