- Well, "observer" makes me think of those little blue helmets in the
- U.N.--not exactly ARCers and probably impossibly dispassionate while
- on duty. No fun there. "Reader????" As if. Dear Abby has _got_
- to go. Much too anal. Still, we've got the raincoat problem. How
- about "spectator" Too dry, same problem as observer? Maybe "fellow
- traveler." Or knights errant (still trying to think up an appropriate
- gender mirror for this one...)
