  22. Well, for my boyfriend's college graduation last year I got him a
  23. pocketwatch.  It's very different -- most men don't have them, but
  24. they're sort of coming back into vogue.  (at least among my friends --
  25. after I got him his, lots of men started recieving them as gifts!)  He
  26. really liked it because it's sort of a traditional thing -- he likes
  27. the idea of pulling it out to show his grandchildren someday.  Also,
  28. pocket watches lend themselves to engraving, so you could have
  29. something written on it about your wedding.  (Or just his initials, if
  30. he's *that* non-sappy.)

  32. Most jewelry stores stock at least a few.  I got his at a store that
  33. specialized in watches.  It and the chain are gold-plated, and
  34. together were just under $100.  They run from about $50 up, depending
  35. on the quality of watch and how much gold is in it.  (Obviously, solid
  36. gold watches are prohibitively expensive!)
