  17. should confront your father and tell him you know what he has been doing
  18. and saying and then ask him why.  Trust me, I had a similar problem with
  19. my mother, and had to confront her.  If they are unhappy with you, dammit,
  20. they should tell you.  I hate this circumlocution when people really need
