  13. I find independent women very very interesting.  I am no way intimidated by them (or by
  14. independent or strong willed men), but I myself have a strong personality so that may be
  15. part of the reason.

  17. I had a girlfriend once who was anything but strong willed and self confident...this was
  18. nice for a while as it was different having someone cling to me, but it quickly grew
  19. tiresome and we broke up.  There is obviously some sort of a balance for each individual.

  21. My wife is not terribly independent in practice, but she is in mind.  Life circumstances
  22. and lack of opportunity made it difficult to be independent, but now that she has more of
  23. a chance, she is becoming more so, striking the right balance for herself and her wants
  24. out of her personality.
