- I am not a total headbanger, and I admit that I only listen to hard rock and
- light heavy metal. I do agree with you that there are too many pop-metal
- bands out there and I also happend to thing that they suck. I love Dream
- Theater, who I would hardly call pop-rock, and I knot that they are discussed
- on some of the metal boards. I also like Yngwie, even though other members
- of this board do not appear to like him. I thing that Queensrych is a great
- band even though I have not heard much of their older but heavier music.
- The only song that I have heard from before Operation: Mindcrime is Queen of
- the Ryche, which I love. I don't know how you would consider Van Halen, Mr.
- Big, Tesla, or Satriani, but I thing that they are all good groups (or
- musicians in Satch's case). I don't know if you have ever heard of Badlands
- or Baton Rouge, but they are also great hard rock bands that really put in
- a great effort. I unfortunately bought Def Leppard's Adrenalize CD when it
- just came out, but I agree that it became old after listening to it only a
- few times. I do however like Warrent's new CD Dog Eat Dog, even though there
- are some songs that I think are too heavy and intentionally made this way to
- better fit into heavy metal or hard rock instead of pop-rock, but who am I to
- say? I also would like some response an what you have to say to my non
- total heavy metal attitude.
