  30. After 4  albums with stupid lyrics and the same licks,yes.
  31. His 3 first albums, no. Listen to his first album, listen to "Black Star".
  32. He was ambigous those days, really wanted to kick ass. This album is a 
  33. milestone in neo-technical guitar witch a lot of brilliant, not at all 
  34. boring solos. (And he has a feel to it)

  36. I totally agree now, though. Went to see him on his Odyssey tour('88), after 
  37. releasing his first album with vocals (only one clean instrumental).
  38. He really sucked. Showed no interest in playing, just throwing all his 
  39. pickers(?) and getting the beer down, "faster than the speed of the light".
  40. His improvising really sucked, and I can't seem to remeber that he played 
  41. one solo straight, "Black Star" was a disaster. VERY disapointing.

  43. He is musicaly totaly worn out, having to make the vocals carry the 
  44. melody. And changing the band on Eclipse was a really big mistake!
  45. To me he's history now, but his first album is still brilliant.
