- Last night (tue. 1/26) I had the chance to see the Extreme show at the Orpheum
- theater in Boston. There were two opening acts, a local band called either
- Flash or Flesh and Saigon Kick. The local band was fairly good, Saigon Kick
- won me over (since I'd never heard their stuff before), and Extreme was
- absolutely fantastic!! For those interested, I'll post Extreme's set list as
- I remember it. Since this is from memory any additions and/or corrections
- are welcomed. The songs sre in no particular order except for the first two
- (which are the first two they did) and I've noted which were encores.
- I remember the titles for a couple of Saigon Kick's songs that really struck
- me: Susie, All I Want, What Do You Do, and a cover of David Bowie's Space
- Oddity... which surprised the hell out of me...
-
- Here's Extreme:
-
- Warheads (opener)
- When I'm President
- Rest in Peace
- Cupid's Dead
- More Than Words
- Our Father
- It ('s a Monster)
- Suzi Wants Her All Day What?
- Hole Hearted
- Politicalamity
- Stop the World
- Seven Sundays (encore)
- Get the Funk Out (encore)
- Decadence Dance (encore)
-
- Nuno also did a solo intrumental called Midnight Express which was excellent.
- They had the Heavy Metal Horns to back them up on some of the songs and they
- divided the show into three "parts" like the album. To my knowledge they
- didn't do anything from their first album. They played for a total of two
- hours and ten minutes and the crowd still wanted more. All in all it was a
- great show. Also, a couple of the songs were filmed so maybe footage will
- show up in a video soon...
-
- Any questions/comments, e-mail or post....
