  19. I was unaware many techno groups labeled themselves as "pagan."  I know
  20. many of them are big into vegetarianism and such, but I wasn't really
  21. aware of much modern-Wicca movement style techno groups.  Most
  22. real witches I know can't stand techno, and go for the Indigo Girls
  23. style acoustic guitar kind of music, maybe reaching out to Dead Can 
  24. Dance.

  26. Now, you can argue that there certainly are now and have been in
  27. the past certain non-christian religions which use fast beats
  28. in religious rites (the one in particular that comes to mind
  29. is a medieval fertility dance done at the solstice), and that
  30. techno might perhaps wake up that part of our human consciousness
  31. which has been put away in the pretty slow music of recent western
  32. tradition, and that we are feeling the vibe of a history
  33. locked deep inside us.
