- Hmmm... A fourteen year old friend asked me about this before
- a trip, and I told him to ask the stewardess to ask the captain.
- Well, he did neither, but used his HT to bring up a few zillion
- repeaters over southern California. After a few minutes of
- amusement, he put his little HT away in his coat pocket.
-
- Sometime later, the captain came out of the cabin, walked right
- up to my friend, and said, "KC6***, hi, I'm N5***, pleased to
- meet you!" He apparently thought that it was great that my
- friend (who was probably petrified) thought to bring his HT
- along on the trip.
