- The famous movie producer?!? Of Pink Panther fame?!?
-
- Police Call is, to paraphrase publisher Gene Hughes' ads, the "most
- widely purchased VHF/UHF radio guide in America". Or some such ad copy.
- It's published each year in 9 Volumes, covering all fifty states, and is
- available thru Radio Shack.
-
- The listings are taken directly "from FCC licenses as they are issued"
- and the 1993 edition (just out) has information current thru Oct '92.
- PoCa is long on frequencies, callsigns (each Tulsa, OK Fire Department
- firehouse is individually licensed for instance), and transmitter
- locations, but short on which channel is what and how the system is used,
- etc.
-
- A good book, all in all. Only $10 at RadSha.

- For the guy looking for Morton (PA) PD freqs:
- From Monitor America, 2nd Ed.:
-
- The Morton PD uses Delaware Co. Police "Tac 1" (West Secondary) 39.82
- MHz.
- The other DelCo. freqs are:
- Tac 2 39.90
- Tac 3 39.78
- Tac 4 39.50
- Tac 5 39.60
- Tac 7 45.54
-
- According to the book ($25-1.800.scan701), a new 500 MHz system is being
- installed, so this may all be wrong.
-
- No, I am not going to type in all the new 500 Mhz freqs!
