  10. What are the symptoms of the infamous batt low light problem?  At what
  11. battery voltage should the "Batt" blink?  At what voltage does it happen
  12. with the "defective" ones?  I received mine in March of 1988, so I think
  13. it could very well have the diode problem.

  15. I have also been having problems with my battery pack.  I had one dead
  16. cell, which I replaced, but the scanner still has trouble starting on
  17. batteries, unless you squeeze on the power/charge input co-axial jack. 
  18. I assume there is a bad connection at the "switch" that connect the
  19. negative terminal of ni-cads to the negative output terminal of the
  20. battery pack when the charge is not plugged in.  (btw, I've been having
  21. this problem for a while, so I think that it is unrelated to the dead
  22. cell)

  24. Finally, what is the story on the new BC portable that was mentioned a
  25. little while ago?  I am very interested in buying one and getting rid of
  26. my BC200xlt.
