- What are the symptoms of the infamous batt low light problem? At what
- battery voltage should the "Batt" blink? At what voltage does it happen
- with the "defective" ones? I received mine in March of 1988, so I think
- it could very well have the diode problem.
-
- I have also been having problems with my battery pack. I had one dead
- cell, which I replaced, but the scanner still has trouble starting on
- batteries, unless you squeeze on the power/charge input co-axial jack.
- I assume there is a bad connection at the "switch" that connect the
- negative terminal of ni-cads to the negative output terminal of the
- battery pack when the charge is not plugged in. (btw, I've been having
- this problem for a while, so I think that it is unrelated to the dead
- cell)
-
- Finally, what is the story on the new BC portable that was mentioned a
- little while ago? I am very interested in buying one and getting rid of
- my BC200xlt.
-
- Any suggestions? Please e-mail me.
- Thanks.
