- The sun inched its way into the room where Redlin lay sleeping. His
- eyelids twitched as the sun inched across his face. After a moment, the
- bright light intruded into his consciousness. Slowly he opened one eye,
- turning a baleful look upon the uncaring sun and rolled over onto his other
- side muttering something about alarm clocks.
- His respite from the sun's rays was not to last, however. In a few
- short minutes the sun reflected off a large mirror on the other side of the
- room, with a predictable result. Muttering and cursing quietly, Redlin
- brought himself to his feet.
- Shaking his head to clear out the cobwebs revealed that he had a
- headache, a perfect way to start the day. Pulling a few small pills from
- one of the small boxes on his belt, he contemplated his irrational desire
- to help people in trouble, deciding that something had to give.
- He felt slightly more energetic, and decided that breakfast was
- definately in order. After pulling on his sword and Raffleur, he opened
- his door and went downstairs.
- When he reached the floor, he noticed that the pretty elven girl was up
- and about and made his was over toward her while she sat and talked to the
- barkeep. When he reached her a few seconds later, he gently tapped on her
- shoulder and waited 'til she turned around. "I am glad to see that you are
- up and about. I had feared for your health even with my ring to aid your
- healing, to be honest. Speaking of which..."
