- I've bought it at a local health food store some years ago and tried it.
- Didn't really feel any noticable effects, other than perhaps some possible
- drowsiness, but I only relaly tried it about 2-3 times. The "funny smell"
- was a bit of an obstacle for me - it's a very strong musty sort of odor,
- and though the valerian was in powdered form in a capsule I found myself
- belching mouthfulls of air with an extremely unpleasant taste/odor and
- having the feeling of this stuff churning and bubbling in my stomach. Burping
- it up was almost enough to make me vomit, making me hesitant to bother with
- exploring it's use further. I think I finally chucked the rest of the bottle
- in the trash about 4 years later, after my girlfriend had a similar experience.
