- Sorry, but I'm basically on the Jersey Gov'ts side on this one.
- They are actually going around on the streets, looking with their
- eyes for probable/possible violators FIRST and THEN checking electronically
- for proof of a violation.

- The usual/current fashionable approach would have been to download all
- information about current addresses for -everybody- living in PA, NY, and
- NJ, then comb through the files for possible criminals -- in the process
- checking through EVERYONE's file. Let's hear it for limiting their searches!

- Oh yeah, the insurance thing -- while NJ is the most expensive state,
- Philadelphia is the most expensive city (with NYC not far behind).
- I've heard of people in Phil. registering their cars in NYC to save on
- insurance.
