- Sounds like the govt. is spending dollars to find dimes, as if
- it has never happened before now. It sounds like a waste of
- time and effort, really.

- All they can accomplish is to remind those honest folks who
- might have forgotten that they have to pay taxes on their
- purchases. A better way to take care of this would be to have
- the stores be able to charge that tax right there whenever a
- customer (an honest and obedient one) informs the cashier that
- he's from New York and wishes to comply with the tax laws.

- to remind those folks of the law.
